In 2024, Reading Test Scores Were At The Lowest Point In Decades. Lowest since 1970, according to the National Assessment of Education.

Reading Test Scores for 13 Year Old Students Nationwide Showed the Largest Decline Ever Recorded.

55% of Fourth Grade Students in Florida Are Not Proficient in Reading.

In Middle Income Neighborhoods, the ratio of books to children is 12 books for every child.

In Low Income Neighborhoods, the ratio of books to children is one book for 300 children.

The Percentage of children who read for fun is at an historic low.

We Are Dedicated To Help Solve The Literacy Problem In Sarasota and Manatee Counties!

Our individual Kindergarten Mentoring Program has grown to where we are helping 200 Children, Once a Week for 21 Weeks.

Our Monthly Program is helping over 4000 Children.

More than 170 People are working on he Kindergarten and/or the Monthly Program.
